Accrington's match with East Lancs at The Property Shop Arena ended in a tie with the visitors finishing with 9 wickets down and the scores level. Simon Hanson top scored with 67 in his return to the side in Accrington's 195 all out. Eli Smith (4-20) and Joe Bolton (4-56) picked up 4 wickets apiece for East Lancs. Bolton snapped up Ben Gorton before a run had been scored and Connor Tattersall (2) at 2. Professional Jacob Clarke and Kian Farnworth put on 70 for the 3rd wicket when Bolton struck again to have Farnworth caught by Josh Bristol for 27. Three runs later East Lancs professional Thomas Kaber removed Stuart Crabtree (2). Clarke became Bolton's fourth victim for 33 at 95. Hanson and Jimmy Hayhurst added 87 for the 6th wicket. Smith clean bowled Hayhurst for 35 and three runs later had skipper Graeme Sneddon (1) caught by Adeel Mohammed. Two runs later Smith trapped Matt Taylor in front without scoring. Hanson's fine innings ended when he too was trapped in front by Smith for 67, made from 66 balls with eleven fours and a six. Phill Aspinall ended the innings by cleaning up George Mills (3) leaving Riley Armstrong (0) unbeaten. East Lancs openers Joe Bolton and James Westhead put on 69 before Westhead was clean bowled by Hayhurst for 43. Kaber made 2 before being trapped in front by Hayhurst at 73. Farnworth joined the attack to trap Joe Bolton in front without addition for 23. Hayhurst had stand-in skipper John Turner caught behind by Gorton for 1 at 82. Smith was bowled by Farnworth at 93 and five runs later Hayhurst cleaned up Aspinall (1). Mohammed joined Paul Turner and this pair added 41 before Mohammed fell to Clarke for 22. Adam Bolton and Turner put on 28 before Turner was caught by Crabtree off Hanson for 44. Nine runs later Rob Marsh was run out for 1. Needing 12 off the last two overs the last pair of Adam Bolton and Bristol took 5 off the 49th and 6 off Hanson's final over with Adam hitting 2 off the last ball to bring the scores level.
